Firm Saw Strong Sales in 2011, Positioned for Further Growth in 2012

BEDMINSTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. — January 17, 2012 – AFScott Technologies, a full-service IT support and solutions provider, experienced an extraordinary 25% growth in sales during 2011. With the addition of six new clients, the firm continued its expansion into the financial and law firm industries. Based in Bedminster, New Jersey, the company also has an office at 1330 Avenue of the Americas in midtown Manhattan to handle the growing number of clients based there.

Andrew Scott attributes the firm’s unprecedented 25% sales growth in 2011 to the growing number of IT services they offer. A new addition to the staff in 2011 was Eric Mahafzeh, who joined as the firm’s Lead Enterprise Technician. Mahafzeh brings over 14 years of IT industry experience to his position, having spent the majority of his career working on Wall Street. As the lead architect and engineer of a top financial firm, he helped develop the New York Stock Exchange Hybrid System, a high-speed fiber optic network that is currently used on the trading floor.

During 2011, AFScott added a new conference room to their Bedminster office to better serve their clients, and remodeled the server room area to allow for additional equipment. This upgraded server room offers professionally-managed data storage capabilities in a highly secure environment. These improvements allow the company to expand their capabilities in numerous industries while utilizing the latest computer hardware and software.
